Why Is TikTok Not Loading?

Trying to catch up on the latest and greatest trends? Is TikTok not loading on your device? Refreshing and refreshing and nothing is coming up? This issue is common and can occur at any time you are trying to catch up on TikTok. There are a few reasons why this could occur. See the topics below to begin the troubleshooting process to try and solve the TikTok loading error.

Internet connection issues

TikTok requires a connection to the internet in order to load your favorite videos. The amount of data that needs to be streamed is substantial as the platform constantly brings new content to your feed. If you have a poor connection, the platform will not be able to load and refresh, this may be the cause of your loading issues.

Troubleshoot your internet or cellular connection

The first step you can take to troubleshoot this issue is to check your connection. Be sure that you have enough service or wifi signal to your device. The bars that represent your service connection can be found at the top of your device’s screen. You can also turn your Wi-fi or cellular service off to establish the connection.

You can do this by accessing this in your settings. Once you have turned one, or both of these services off, you can turn them back on. From here, wait a few seconds before attempting to load TikTok again. Another way to do this is to toggle airplane mode if you have a device that supports this function.
